    When I visited New York City a couple of years ago for a conference, my friend took me here and I had the croissant and fully fell in love. Each day of the conference my friend started to bring me a croissant from the bakery for lunch, and I still remember the taste of it. Hands down one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.

An individuals ability to process and show the world what they see or the message they want to get across .     Croissant is the most underrated pastry. Everyone knows about it but it will get overshadowed by donuts, cupcakes, and brownies. Nothing is better than early morning with a fresh croissant with fruit preserve, butter, and a dark espresso.

      Croissant may be the most underrated pastry...in the U.S.A. but I would say that by and large in Europe it is the other way round.
      1st place: croissant, 2nd: doughnuts, 3rd: brownies, 4th: cupcakes.
      And I suggest you try your morning croissant with some Nutella or any other good quality chocolate spread. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo addictive!

    Oooh this was so satisfying to watch, no one understands my obsession with croissants ! Sadly, where i live, there are no bakeries, and the only thing you can get close to a croissant are Walmart croissants...😐 But i've been to France and eaten actual French croissants from Paris, so thank God for that! Best thing i've eaten all my life

    There is this Italian cookie called saviatta that is sold in a couple bakeries in Brooklyn NY. I CANNOT find the recipe for this cookie. It's literally my favorite but it's rare. You guys should try and reverse engineer/find the recipe. like so they can see please and thx.

      They are called "savoiardi" (saviatta it's another way less common to call them with). Search with this name on the internet, maybe they are the cookies you are talking about. Savoiardi are pretty common in Italy and not easy to make but we use them a lot especially to do tiramisù

      Really don't be afraid of proper butter from French milk cows. Not any vegetable oil, butter is good for your body.

      @Joe Al That's total bullshit ! I'm not saying that vegetable oils and hydrogenated fat are nice, but the butter has a lot of saturated fat which is also BAD for you, not worse than trans fat from margerines, but it's still pretty nasty. Just eat it once in a while and you'll be fine !!

      @Mister Z C'est à peu près ce que j'ai voulu dire dans mon deuxième commentaire :) La pâtisserie vient au départ de Vienne, c'est incontestable, et c'est pour ça qu'on l'appelle viennoiserie. D'ailleurs pendant des siècles les croissants fabriqués en France l'étaient à base de pâte importée d'Autriche. Mais le croissant qu'on connaît aujourd'hui, à base de pâte feuilletée, est effectivement apparu en France au 20e siècle (à ma connaissance en tout cas, je ne suis non plus un expert en la matière).
